Please enjoy this poem I wrote about Pan, the goat legged mythian who represents the essence of improvisational muisic.
Pan's pursuit of the beautiful nyad Sryinx led her to cry out to the gods for help, who in their mercy transformed her into river reeds.
Pan fashioned these reeds into his famous seven tube flute.
